Growing up in Dominica, with a population of only 70,000 people, I found great joy in helping the elders and individuals with disabilities, especially those who lived alone. One of my earliest and most impactful inspirations was my father, a carpenter who often came home injured. Tending to his wounds became an act of love and responsibility. That passion for caring only grew stronger, leading to my dream of becoming a nurse and serving both my family and community. At Second Chance New Life Adult Daycare, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance at a joyful, dignified, and fulfilling life.
